Your Bio

I've been a photographer since high school. After 28 years of using a Nikon FE, I finally bought my first digital SLR: a Nikon D80. I love taking people pictures -- especially of cute kids -- and extreme close-ups of flowers and nature. Enjoy!

I'm also president and owner of Catena Creations, a graphic design/Web design firm.

Geese at the Gallup campus : On Saturday, Oct. 25, I was on the Gallup campus on the Omaha riverfront to take pictures of the new footbridge. I got in my car to leave and turned to the left to look. There I saw a flock of geese near a pond on the Gallup Organization campus. Some of them eventually moved to the pond. I got within 30 feet of some of them. Enjoy!

Sea Creatures at the Zoo : These photos were taken at the Scott Aquarium and the Lied Jungle at the Henry Doorly Zoo. What's amazing about them is that I shot almost all of them through the glass, using only the built-in flash on my new Nikon D80. I was absolutely amazed at the results! I did little retouching -- just set to "Auto Levels" in Fireworks. I just love this camera!
